
Jennifer M. Trigger is a rising second year and graduate student research assistant at the University of Michigan’s Center for the Study of Higher and Postsecondary Education (CSHPE). Marsal Family School of Education, Ann Arbor, MI. Predoctoral Fellow in the Causal Inference in Education Policy Research (CIEPR) program, funded by the Institute of Education Sciences (IES) at the U.S. Department of Education.
Research Interests: Promoting student outcomes in higher education for economically and racially minoritized students through sound public policy. I conduct quantitative research to analyze the effectiveness of financial aid policy on student short-term and long-term outcomes. Specifically, in exploring the impact of programs that provide additional financial support to college students, beyond tuition and fees, as well as the student decision-making process when confronted with uncertainty.
